Inventory of Recreational Facilities —
DESCRIPTION OF RECREATIONAL FACILITIES BY TYPE
This section of the inventory describes the recreational facilities in the Primary Zone, in the Secondary Zone, and directly adjacent to the Legal Delta by type. The same data collection methodology used to prepare the geographic description of recreation facilities (county by county) was used for this section (see attached list of sources). The written descriptions are followed by charts and by maps which illustrate the location of the recreation facilities deltawide. In the charts, the facilities are grouped by County. The types of facilities are listed in alphabetical order.
Pump Outs
Some marinas provide pump-outs to be used to empty holding tanks containing wastewater from larger vessels. Most of the boats used in the Delta are smaller vessels that do not have holding tanks.
In Solano County, pump-outs are located at Delta Marina and Sandy Beach Park.
In Yolo County, pump-outs are located at the Sacramento Yacht Club.
In Sacramento County, pump-outs are located at Boathouse Marina, Bruno's Island Yacht Harbor, Cliff's Marina, Dagmar's Landing, Delta Bay, Korth's Pirate Lair, Metro Marina, Oxbow Marina, Perry's Boat Harbor, Rancho Marina, River Bank Marina, Riverview Marina, Sacramento Marina, Walnut Grove Marina, Brannan Island State Recreation Area, and Ko Ket Resort.
In Contra Costa County, pump-outs are located at Anchor Marina, Antioch Marina, Bethel Island Marina, Discovery Bay Yacht Harbor, Holland Riverside Marina, Lauritzen Yacht Harbor, and Mazikeen's Landing.
In San Joaquin County, pump-outs are located at Herman & Helen's, Holiday Harbor, King Island Resort, New Hope Landing, Paradise Point Marina, Tiki Lagun, Tower Park, Village West Marina, Waterfront Yacht Harbor, and Whiskey Slough Harbor.
