  5. APPROVE Minutes of Meeting of July 26, 2007.
  6. APPROVE Change in Date of November Commission Meeting from November 15, 2007 to November 29, 2007 in Order to Accommodate Local Government Members Attending the California State Association of Counties Annual Meeting.
  7. APPROVE Letter as Part of Grant Application (previously submitted) to National Park Service for Assistance in Facilitating the Feasibility and Planning Process for the Great California Delta Trail.
  8. AUTHORIZE the Chair to Execute the Draft Letter Notifying the Discover the Delta Foundation that the Commission Will no Longer be Represented on the Foundation’s Board of Directors.
  9. Receive Grant Application Submitted by Commission Staff to the County of Solano for Funding from the Fish and Game Propagation Fund Relative to GIS Services to Identify Potential Links to the Delta Trail.
  10. Acknowledge Commission Executive Director’s Participation on the De Facto Committee of the Solano County Parks and Recreation Commission, to Provide Input on the Kinder Morgan Settlement Agreement Fund Grant Guidelines Relative to the Delta Trail.
  11. Receive Informational Status on State Water Plan Update.
  12. Receive Informational Update on Bay-Delta Conservation Plan.
  13. Receive Summary of Coastal Clean-up Activities Sponsored by the Commission at Sites in Clarksburg, Rio Vista and Hog Island.

Receive Informational Update on Delta Vision Process from Delta Vision Stakeholder Committee Members and Local Electeds Panel Members, Including Letter Sent to the Blue Ribbon Task Force Relative to Governance.     1. Consider Priorities for 2007-2008 Program Administration and Regional Plan Implementation Consistent with the Commission’s 2006-20011 Strategic Plan. (L. Fiack)
    2. DIRECT Staff to Initiate Implementation of Recommended Tasks Taking Into Consideration Commission Member Input.
    1. Discuss and Consider Staff Recommendation to Establish a Policy for Appointment of Chair and Vice-Chair, Consistent with the Delta Protection Act. (L. Fiack)
    2. DIRECT Staff to Return with Policy, Pursuant to Commission Member Input, for Consideration of Approval and Appointment of Chair for 2008.
