  7. Consider Staff Recommendation of Support to Resources Agency Legislative Director for Assembly Bill 909 (Wolk, relating to water/funding for mandated mercury monitoring programs)

  10. Introduction of New Commission Staff
    1. Receive Presentation from U. S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) on Levee Maintenance Policies Relative to Vegetation Removal Pursuant to Public Comment Received at May 24, 2007 Meeting (see Relative Letter from Jeff Hart, Hart Restoration, Inc.)
    2. If Determined to be Appropriate after Receiving Presentation, Direct Staff to Prepare a Letter from the Chair to the Corps Providing Relative Management Policies.
  12. Receive Status Update from Commissioners Nottoli and Armor on Re-establishment of a Safe Passage Marker in Lower Sherman Island Lake Pursuant to Public Comment Received at May 24, 2007 Meeting.
    1. Receive Presentation on Valley Vision Great California Delta Trail Planning Concept, Including Consideration of Commission Input Provided at May 24, 2007 Meeting (10 minutes).
    2. AUTHORIZE Staff to Initiate the Appropriate Process for Implementation of the Concept.
    3. AUTHORIZE the Chair to Execute Documents and Agreements Required for Implementation of the Process.
  14. Receive Informational Update on Delta Vision Process from Delta Vision Stakeholder Committee Members. Commissioners Cabaldon, Simonsen, van Loben Sels, Ferguson and McGowan.
    1. Consider Priorities for 2007-2008 Program Administration and Regional Plan Implementation Consistent with the Commission’s 2006-2011 Strategic Plan.
    2. APPROVE Revised Budget Augmentation Concept from Commissioners Simonsen and Johnson, Commission Budget Committee.
    3. DIRECT Staff to Initiate Discussions with Member Entities to Implement the Concept for the 2008-2009 Fiscal Year.

  17. CLOSED SESSION. At a Convenient Time During the Meeting, the Commission May Have a Closed Session, Pursuant to Government Code Section 11126(e), to Confer with Counsel Concerning Pending Litigation.
