  5. APPROVE Minutes of Meeting of March 22, 2007.
  6. APPOINT Commissioners Cabaldon and Tilghman to the Human Resources Sub-Committee to Replace Commissioner Sanders (retired).
  7. AUTHORIZE the Chair and/or the Executive Director to Execute the Appropriate Documents to Receive Reimbursement of Proposition 50 (Ecosystem Restoration Program) Grant Funds Awarded to the Commission and the Yolo Basin Foundation, a Co-Sponsor of the Lower Yolo Bypass Collaborative Project.
  8. AUTHORIZE the Executive Director to Participate on the Department of Water Resources State Water Plan Regional Design Team, Facilitated by the Center for Collaborative Policy.
  9. Consider Staff Recommendation of Neutral Position to Resources Agency Legislative Director for Senate Bill 555 (Machado, amendment of Section 29770 of the Public Resources Code Relating to the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta) and Position of Support for Senate Bill 669 (Torlakson, Continuous Regional Recreation Corridors; Funding).
    1. Consider Project Concept for Enhanced Delta Emergency Planning, Response, Recovery and Mitigation.
    2. DIRECT Staff to Continue to Work with Partner Entities and the Center for Collaborative Policy to Finalize the Concept.
    3. AUTHORIZE the Chair and/or Executive Director to Execute the Appropriate Documents for Implementation of the Concept.
  10. Receive Final Delta Project Checklist as Adopted by Commission on March 22, 2007.
  11. Receive Update on Department of Water Resources FloodSAFE Program Grant Guidelines.
  12. Receive Informational Update on Delta Risk Management Strategy Draft Report.
  13. Receive Informational Update on Development of Bay Delta Conservation Plan.
  14. Receive Informational Update on Delta Long-Term Management Strategy for Dredging.

    Regular Agenda

  15. Introduction of Summer Interns from UC Berkeley.
  16. Receive Presentations on County General Plan Updates from the Counties of Sacramento, Yolo, Solano, and San Joaquin (15 minutes each).
    1. Consider Concept Proposal from Valley Vision to Develop Planning and Feasibility Process for the Great California Delta Trail Network.
    2. AUTHORIZE Staff to Initiate the Appropriate Process for Implementation of the Concept.
    3. AUTHORIZE the Chair and/or Executive Director to Execute Documents Required for Implementation of the Process.
    1. Receive and Discuss Budget Augmentation Proposal from Commission Budget Committee.
    2. Direct the Committee to Return to the Commission with a Draft Final Recommendation for Consideration.
  17. Initiate Discussion for Prioritizing 2007-2008 Annual Tasks for Program Administration and Regional Plan Implementation Consistent with the Commission's 2006-20011 Strategic Plan.
  18. Receive Informational Update on Delta Vision Process from Delta Vision Stakeholder Committee Members. Commissioners Cabaldon, Simonsen, van Loben Sels, Ferguson and McGowan.
  19. Commissioner Comments/Announcements.
  20. CLOSED SESSION. At a Convenient Time During the Meeting, the Commission May Have a Closed Session, Pursuant to Government Code Section 11126(e), to Confer with Counsel Concerning Pending Litigation.
