  10. The Commission will review the status of the Jones Tracts Levee break and repair. The Commission will consider adopting recommendations for action to support on-going levee maintenance, future upgrading of levees to PL 84-99 standard, and enhanced response to possible future levee breaks.

    1. Staff has prepared a summary of projects approved since approximately 1992 in the Legal Delta. The Committee has recommended review of certain projects and activities.
  13. Budget and Work Plan for FY 04-05 (For Commission Discussion and Possible Action)
    1. Budget and Finance Committee has reviewed proposed budget and work plan and recommends action by the full Commission. Key new planning project is preparation of a recreation master strategy for the Delta area using federal grant funds through Department of Boating and Waterways.

  14. Adoption of Environmental Justice Policy (For Commission Action)
    1. The Commission reviewed a draft environmental justice policy in November 2003. The draft has been posted on the Commission's web site since that time. The Commission will possibly adopt the draft environmental justice policy.
