  9. Briefing on Freeport Regional Water Project (For Commission Information Only)
    1. East Bay Municipal Utility District, Sacramento County, and others are participating on the newly created Freeport Regional Water Authority overseeing a project to build and operate a new intake with capacity of up to 185 million gallons per day. The intake would be located on the Sacramento River south of the City of Sacramento. The location has not yet been determined; sites in Yolo County and Sacramento County are being evaluated.   10. SB 86, Delta Conservancy Legislation (Machado) (For Public Hearing and Commission Consideration and Possible Action)
    1. The Commission will hold a public hearing and discuss SB 86, a bill to create a Delta Conservancy Program to be administered by the Coastal Conservancy. This is the same language supported by the Commission last legislative session.
  11. Draft Interim Process for Review of Recreation Improvements and Enhancements for Proposed CALFED Projects (For Public Hearing and Commission Action)
    1. The Commission will hold a public hearing, hear the recommendation of the Recreation Citizens Advisory Committee, and possibly adopt the draft Interim Process. If the Commission adopts the Interim Process, it would be forwarded to CALFED for implementation and inclusion in the Delta Implementation Plan under preparation by CALFED staff.
  12. Election of Officers (For Commission Action)
    1. The Commission will elect a chairperson and vice chairperson. The term of office is two years and officers can be reelected.
