Conservancy Mission Statement
The Baldwin Hills and Urban Watersheds Conservancy’s mission is to acquire open space and manage public lands within the Baldwin Hills, Ballona Creek and Upper Dominguez Channel watersheds to provide recreation, restoration and protection of wildlife habitat within the territory for the public’s enjoyment and educational experience.

Baldwin Hills Conservancy Territory
The territory covers approximately 70 square-miles of the Southern Ballona Creek and Upper Dominguez Watersheds. The service area represents the most densely populated municipalities in the State, including Unincorporated LA County, Inglewood, Culver City, City of Los Angeles, Lennox, West Athens, Del Aire, Lawndale, Westmont, El Segundo, and portions of Manhattan Beach, Redondo, Santa Monica and Hawthorne.
